Zorath walked around the airport, waiting for his flight. It was a normal day at Heathrow and Zorath was about to leave on vacation, he blended into the crowds easily with his standard looks, 6 foot 3" teenager with pale skin, short dark brown hair, and a pair of jeans along with a black shirt with a picture of a tribal dragon on the left side outlined in blue. It had been a long morning, and he had nothing to do before he left so he decided to come here and wait it out. he was sitting next to a pair of university students, a boy and a girl, who were going over something on the guy's iphone, with nothing better to do, he listened in...
Boy: "...Telling you, this has got to be real, Too many people are submitting videos of this."
Girl: "Hey, it could be a large scale prank, anyone can use photoshop you know."
"But this isn't a photo is it? Look." The guy taps the screen and even with the noise of the busy airport Zorath could hear it. Wingbeats followed by several exclamations and a few curses, some cars screeching to a halt... then it just goes dead... just like that.
"Still think it's photoshopped?" The guy says with a little smirk.
"No, I don't... and how long ago was this taken?"
"I have no idea, maybe twelve hours ago, but it's still something, I mean dragons! who would..."
Zorath tunes out the rest of their conversation, dragons? That's definately something worth finding out about, he takes out his phone and starts up searching on youtube, and found it almost immediately
[Dragons in Cranston, Rhode Island]
He starts the video and stares intently, the video was being taken from inside a car, pointing out the back as something black rushed up and over the entire car. The person flips around to see whatever it was crash into a second one of the same color, now that it wasn't in motion... it really was a dragon! Two of them, both groaning as the get up, then a third lands beside them with a few words. They exchange a few words then one of them waves his hand and says something before the person wavers, causing the picture to shake, before the recording ends.
-I wonder what caused that.- Zorath thinks before looking for more videos like it, he never had to go far, several more, one in Dallas of a piar flying away from the city and several more angles of the dragons in Rhode Island.
-This is just something else.- Zorath thought as he looked at another video, this one of one dragon running through a intersection, someone had slowed and enhanced the picture and every detail could be picked out, horns and spikes, even the size, which was around ten meters.
"Now boarding flight 106."
The loudspeaker had called his flight, it would make an interesting topic to his freinds when he gets back, he pockets the phone and grabs his bag off the ground at his feet. But before he could stand he heard a bit of shouting over by the entrance, he couldn't see what was going on... but suddenly a weird feeling crowds into his head and before he could try and figure out what it was, everyone in the airport stopped, literaly, except him.
Confusion ran through Zorath, he had no idea what was going on, He looked over to the two he had listened to about the dragons, they were looking straight ahead, hands still holding the phone, the slowly blink and breathe but otherwise stayed still... what the hell is happening? That's when he started hearing voices.
"... lost that bet, i didn't know you could do that Zephyr." said one voice that he couldn't see.
"I'm a master of the mind, what can i say? Said a second voice, probably belonging to the one referred to as Zephyr. Zorath was certain it wasn't a good idea to find out where the voices were coming from, but when he stood he could see no-one... where was it coming from?
"How long are they going to stay like this?" Said a third voice, obviously concerned.
"As long as we need it to be to find the one we came for." Said Zephyr
"That's going to be a bit hard, there's enough people here to mess up that aura vision that you cast, it's like the room IS a rainbow." -Aura vision? Who are these people?- Zorath silently questioned himself, He could hear Zephyr speak
"That's why I didn't use it on him, he'll be active and alert so we should be able to find him, and get out of here before everybody outside the building wonders what's going on and tries to find out." With a shock he realized it was him they were looking for. He definitaly didn't think it was a good idea to find out who did this now, and deciding it would be better to stay out of their sight. Keeping low, Zorath weaved through the motionless crowd to the a fast food store, the workers there just as paralized as the rest. Hiding behind the counter he could hear the group approaching... their voices making their approach easy to spot.
"He's hiding from us, you know that right?" Says voice number one
"Probably, what would you do if you knew this was happening, he must have overheard us earlier." Says number three of the group. They were close now, he could feel his heart start to beat faster. The group passes by, the clicking of something...-clicking?- Thorath thought, he thought he was hearing things, but he could still hear it, like claws on tile... -just who was following me?- Zorath thinks as they pass by... they were starting to get out of earshot when Zephyr spoke again.
"I've been thinking on a way to modify..." The rest was said so low that Zorath couldn't hear it, modify what? The question sat in his head along with all the other unanswered questions.
"...Wait another few minutes before..." Was made out by the third voice... and then they were gone, out of earshot and hopefully sight. He picks himself up off the floor and sides to the wall, peeking out he caught sight of something turning into the corner...
Zorath sees a tail whip aorund the corner, black scaled and with two tips... -what was after me?- Zorath thinks as he breaks away from the cover of the wall and heads back towards the main groups, only Zorath made a mistake and bumped into a person loosely holding an iphone, it fell out of his hands and clatters to the ground, he rushes forward the moment he knows they heard him.
"I just heard him! He's heading back towards the main terminal!" Voice number three yells out to his buddies and I could hear rapid clicking of them approaching, making a split decsion he sat in his original seat and acted like the rest of the people.
"Where is he?" Says Zephyr, directly behind him by a few meters.
"I don't know... the moment I came around the corner he was already here, he could have kept running." Came from voice three
"I doubt it, our eyes can pick out a still deer in the middle of a forest, we can pick out a moving person in the middle of a still airport, he's hiding." Zorath almost twitched at that -Don't move an inch! They can't find me if I don't move.- He thought to himself.
"Now would be a good time to use that homing thing you talked about earlier."
"Well, i'll get to it, you just keep an eye out for the person so that he doesn't bolt."
-Uh oh. This isn't good.- He could hear Zephyr murmur something and the sound of something else, Zorath couldn't figure out what it sounded like.
"So, how do you think he will react to this?" Voice three asks.
And voice one answers "Do I look like a psychologist to you?"
Voice one laughs "You do actually."
"How does this..." Zorath could imagine the voice pointing to himself "Look like that?"
"Relax, I was just kidding, though if we found him you could do what Zephyr did to me, though that would probably leave things on a bad note."
Number three snorts "Of course it would, and yet you and Zephyr get along just well don't you Shane?" That's name number two, Zorath thought as their conversation continued...
"Because i'm actually willing to forgive him because of the reason he did it, but just randomly walking up to somone and ripping through their head like a book isn't exactly easy to forgive you know." Ripping through their... that doesn't make anything sound better, Zorath was getting a real powerful urge to bolt and make a sprint for the doors.
"Neither is what we are about to do to him, I mean look what you did to me, no warning, hell, you didn't even ask!"
Shane gets defensive "I already told you I was sorry for that, besides, it wasn't me who decided to turn you in the middle of the street." -Turn? This just keeps getting more out of reality with each second... I needed to get away from them before that... whatever they are doing finishes.- Zorath thinks and he slowly gets ready to break out of hiding into a full on sprint.
"Oh hey look at that, we've got another ice user." Says Zephyr suddenly.
"You must have jinxed it when you wished for him to be an earth and metal, what's the second one he's got?" Says Shane
"Shadow, and no third one either... ready to see a game of dodgeball?" Zorath knew this was his only chance to make a break for it, He leaps forward, and makes a dead sprint for the doors way off.
Third voice- "There he is! Zephyr!" He hears a shout and something comes whizzing at him, he ducks just as a swirling ball of black and ice-blue flies overhead, missing him by inches, it zooms ahead and hits the wall... and comes straight back at him!
"Agh!" He dives to the side and it just barely misses him again, he knocked a person down with the dodge and the person didn't even try to keep from hitting the ground, a sickening crack sounded off as the person's elbow cracked into the ground.
Zephyr- "Damn he's quick, Oliver, get outside and make sure he doesn't run off!"
"On it." And Zorath hears the clicking again, but it was headed away. He hears the ball come wizzing back and he hops up as it skids across the space his head used to be... What was this thing? Zorath thoguth as he started his sprint for the doors again.
"Shane! Now might be a good time to stop him!"
"Oh right sorry, three, two, one, aaand!"
And Zorath tripped... on thin air, he goes flying and slides across the floor, knocking several people down in the process.
"Think you could have made it a little less... I don't know, painfull?" Says Zephyr
"He was moving too fast, I couldn't get a good hold on him."
-Here comes the ball again!- Zorath thinks as he tried to get up off the ground... and finds out he couldn't!
Then the ball came from somewhere high up and slammed into his back, causing him to gasp in pain as his breath gets knocked out of him. A shock spread through his body and he thought he had been apralized from the hit... then the tingling started. It was like warming up your hands after spending hours out in the snow and ice, it wasn't painfull, but not enjoyable either.
"You realize you can let him up now right?" Says Zephyr
"Whoops, keep forgetting to let the spells down."
Suddenly Zorath was free again, but the tingling was still there and intensifying, and it was hard to stand upright, but then he fell to the ground as something snapped in his legs. The first thing he noticed was his arms that had fallen on the ground infront of his face... they were black, and getting covered in scales! Lifting one closer as his eyes widened, claws began poking out of his fingertips, the pinky finger was beginning to grow smaller!
"What the hell!?"
The scales had reached his fingers now and the claws kept getting larger, taking over his fingernails. Then a mirror slammed down infront of Zorath, causing him to jump... because the reflection was something completely unexpected.
The rest of his skin had turned black, and his hair was fallling out, being replaced by scales as he could see horns begin to push out of the back of his head. His hoes becom uncomfortable and then rip as three claws split them open, he looks back and sees his legs in a different position than before, his foot ahd shited completely, putting him in a digigrade stance, with a claw at his heel.
Zorath kept the "What's going on!?" question in his head, but then something connects, giving him the thought -What else has scales, digigrade feet, and horns?- Then he get's it... he was becoming a dragon!
The realization wiped away all the confusion, he remembered seeing the tail back at the and knew it was dragons...
His pants tear as a tail rips it's way out of the seat, the tip had an X like shape with four razor edges that gleamed in the light. Something cricked in his neck and he had to look back at the mirror as he felt something pop into place, it must have been an extra vertibrae. He saw himself in the mirror again, twice as draconic than before, the horns curving out the back of his head had finished, their color black as his scales at the base, crimson halfway up, and then white at the tips. He started to feel bones in his fae shift... in the mirror he could see the bones break and his face start to reform into a muzzle, his eyes have to cross to see directly infront of him as his eyes spaced apart, and the itching began as the actual eye was changed.
Shane- "I think you were right about the spell mutating."
Zephyr- "You sure it wasn't the-"
"No, it wasn't the transormation spell I cast Zephyr, why do you keep thinking i messed it up?"
Zorath looks towards the voices and finally sees the ones who had been after him... and makes the realization that they were the dragons from the video! The only thing was that they were anthro, not the giant quadropeds that he had seen, he would have made out their details, but just then his shirt ripped and he could feel wings burst from his back, completely ensuring the fact that he was turning into a dragon, they fell into his view, black as his scales plus razor sharp sines covering the "arm" of the wings. All that had been changing in his legs was done and he tried to stand, he manages with a small amount of stumbling and sees himself in the mirror fully.
The entire amount of change was staggering, he stood a good foot taller than the nearest person, which might have put him a little over seven feet. a horn was jsut finishing it's appearance on his muzzle, sliding backwards and maybe about 5" inches long, he could see his scales completely now, blood red scales ran across his body like veins, and they drew up onto his forehead, making a set of lightning patterns. He was loving the way he felt and looked, he turns his back to the mirror and turns his head enough to see the spikes going from the back of his neck all the way to his tail tip and they were the same color pattern as his horns.
More clicking "Hey guys the... wow, he looks even more intimidating than you Zephyr."
"I know, He looks like he likes being a dragon more than being human, based on the grin on his face."
The mirror infront of Zephyr vanishes into thin air, making him look at the group, one was in the middle of lowering his hand, white fire covering the tattoos on his arms and back of his neck, which were golden, the fire dies and the tattoos fade into his scales, around the arm that he lowered was a small blue gem that seemed to catch the light on a black chain that wound up his wrist and to his arm, so the mirror was just an illusion?
The dragon says "Welcome to dragondom." with a small smile on his face.
"Uh huh, so what are three dragons doing in the UK? Besides turning me into a dragon of course."
Shane just shrugs, gives a light shove the dragon to his right, which gets to speaking after giving a glare towards Shane.
"Well, that's just it, you are the reason we're here, and yes, we can give an actual explanation, but first I suggest that we get out of here before people start investigating."
That's when the third dragon, Oliver, when Zorath placed a name to the voice, said "That's what I was coming to tell you about, we have about a dozen police and a few paramedics outside."
Zephyr says something in a different language, obviously a curse, then he switches back to english "Okay, that means we have to skip the short introductions, Shane, could you get a portal running. Alright, umm, what's your name?"
"Zorath, and yes, I already know all of yours."
"Good, at least we can skip that part, do you mind coming with us?"
This is what started getting Zorath cautious "Coming with you where?"
Zephyr was about to say something, thinks better of it, and says instead "Where would you like to go that is quiet and nowhere near as busy as an airport?"
The natural trust issues with new people started to hit on Zorath's mind, -what did they want him as a dragon for? But then again, they're dragons too.-
"How about a clearing a few miles out of town?" Both Zephyr and Oliver look at Shane, who had stopped in the middle of something.
Shane- "What? I've never been to England, don't expect me to know where to go." Zephyr sighs and shakes his head, then takes Shane's place as he backs away from something carved into the ground.
"A clearing it is." He moves his claws in a certain pattern and a black fire-bordered void opens, several people were dangerously close to it. Zephyr hops in followed by Oliver, but Shane stays back.
"Hold your breath when you hop through, there's no oxygen between here and there." Zorath get's ready to hop through the portal, but then Shane says something else.
"For what it's worth, sorry for not warning you about the transformation thing."
Zorath looks at him "It's alright, i've always wanted to be a dragon, but i'm still wondering... why me?"
"Because you have more powerfull magic abilities than most, and..." He looks over Zorath's shoulder and sees several cops walk into the airport.
"Go, now." And Zorath gets pushed into the portal, a black emptiness until he fell out the other side. Shane follows through and the yawning pit closes with a small crackle. They were all in a small grassy field with a good view of the city. Zorath picks himself up off the ground a little annoyed with getting shoved through...
"Now can you start answering my questions?"
Zephyr turns toward the city and mumbles something and waves his hands, while Oliver turns toward him and says "Sure, ask away."
"First off, Where did you dragons come from?"
"Ah, you should rephrase that, only Zephyr is an actual dragon, both me and Shane used to be human like you."
"In other words..." Shane interrupts "Zephyr is a ressurected dragon from back during the medival ages, and suprisingly enough it was me who ressurected him."
"You brought a dragon back from the dead?" Zorath couldn't hold out the suprise in his voice.
"I didn't actually MEAN to do it, but... wishes come true sometimes, and don't ask me how i did it, because i still don't exactly know."
"Oookay, next question, what was it about the magical abilities that I supposedly have?"
"Shane already told you some of that i see, well... there was a spell cast a long time ago by the last dragons, it was supposed to turn a large amount of humans on earth into dragons, but the spell's incomplete, we don't know why or how, but Zephyr here is getting a group together to finish that spell and bring dragons back from extinction... come to think of it, why were dragons so rare in the first place?" He directs the last part to Zephyr, who tenses quickly at it... apparently he didn't want to tell anyone about it.
"Um... ah, There was a plauge." He mutters the last part, completly caught off guard by the question.
Oliver "A plauge that killed most of the dragons off the earth... that's kind of odd."
Then Shane gives a slow look towards both of them "Actually it isn't, remember the bubonic plauge back then? killed like what, seventy-five percent of europe's population? It would reason that something like that could happen to dragons too."
"But that was the thing that killed the dragons off, but it didn't start with humans." Zephyr mutters still, he knew something, Zorath thought so as well as the other two.
Shane- "Zeph, what happened?"
"Do you remember when i told you about the suggestion I had made to the elders?"
"Tha... you didn't let the elders stop you from trying did you?"
Zephyr kept his back turned from the group "It wasn't just me, another few dragons shared my idea, but I found out they were a bit too... zealous and they changed the way the spell was supposed to affect the bacteria, it became to infectious than it needed to be, and infected them. I had been gone trying to keep the elders busy so that they wouldn't get suspicious of the others work... and that doomed most of us. In the end, only two elders were left and almost all of us were dead, I was one of the lucky few that was resistant... but the remainder found out what we had done... I was forced off the continent, and that's how I ended up in America, where I died somehow after a few days in my sleep."
Everybody was shocked into silence. He had helped cause the greatest plauge ever, for both humans and dragons?
Oliver- "That's... just, damn."
Zephyr keeps his head turned away "I know, you think your doing something good, and it turns out you kill off nearly everyone you knew." There wa a large amount of depression in his voice.
Shane decides to speak then "But you didn't know what they were doing... well in part, but still, you didn't know they would take it that far."
"Did i? We knew what we were trying to do, and everyone paid the price because of it."
Shane didn't even seem phazed by it "And it's in the past now, and you also have a chance to make up for it."
Zephyr seems to think on it for a long time..."Alright, maybe there is such a thing as second chances... sorry, it's depressing... anyway, you have anymore questions?"
Zorath was still absorbing the fact that Zephyr had caused that much death, but there was still one question that he wanted to say "How many more before that spell can be completed?'
"No-one, you're the final dragon." Zephyr says as he turns away from the view of the city.
"Only four?" Zorath asks
"Four black dragons with considerable magical potential i might add."
Shane decides to say "Which is to say... well, you want to help us bring back the dragons Zorath?"
"Of course I do, why wouldn't i?" He says while shuffling his wings, Shane notes that there was red specks on the membrane that hadn't been there before.
"Then that leaves the question to Zephyr, what do we do now?"
"Not much, just see what all you can do and then rest for a while until i know we can pull it off."
"That's it?" Oliver says questioningly.
"Pretty much... and Shane, since we don't really need to be anthros anymore could you take the spell off?"
Shane nods then all the sudden flames burst into existance where the tattoos formed and both Oliver and Zephyr grew into their quadroped forms, bone cracking as things shifted to accomodate that. After the flames had died on Shane's arms Zephyr looked at him...
"Why didn't you-"
Shane cuts him off "Because I like being an anthro, and besides, it wouldn't do for there to be only one anthro in the group would it?"
"Fine, your choice." Zephyr says as he stretches his wings to their fullest before running off and jumping into flight.
"Where's he going?' Zorath asks
"To hunt some deer probably, he should be back in an hour, in the meantime... Oliver, how about you two test out some elemental manipulation?"
They get started as Shane went and sat several meters away, watching as Oliver got to telling Zorath what he knew about it... several minutes later spikes of ice shot out of the ground, and there was a good coating in some spots, looks like the grass was going to have a bad day... the entire time Zorath and Oliver were messing with ice Shane had been flicking between light and dark elements, the color flame on his tattoos switching between red and white. Shane had found this out awhile after giving a large explanation to Oliver, apparently it reflected the element he was using, except for lightning, which just happened to reflect depending on his mood.
"Why does it change like that?" Zorath says as the flame switched back to gold when Shane dismissed a orb of shadow and summoned a reflection of himself.
"Probably the mood that i use with the elements, other than that no idea." Shane says somewhat detached, then he get's an idea "Oliver, have you tried using wind yet?"
"No, you want me to try that?"
Shane nods his head, soon enough Oliver was trying to summon wind, without success.
"Zorath, why don't you get to work on summoning... nevermind." Zorath had a sphere of solid darkness hovering above his outstreched palm with a grin on his muzzle. Shane tried to think about how Oliver was having trouble summoning wind, but Zorath figures it out first.
"Hey Oliver, try and push this over with wind." He sends that sphere out and it lengthened into a tall pole. Maybe all he needed was a target was what Oliver thought as he tried at knocking over the pole... again without success, he gets annoyed and makes a backhanding motion before turning away, and then a powerful gust just about knocks him on his side.
"That worked." Shane said as the pole slammed into the ground, shattering into fragments of shadow that faded into thin air. Both Shane and Zorath had been knocked back by the instant gale. Shane bust up laughing...
"Anyone else expect that? Let's see if you can do it without knocking us all to the ground this time."
They start practicing and Oliver soon got the hang of it, now he was able to make things hover and spin. After a while everyone had started to wonder why Zephyr was taking so long.
"Anyone else wondering where he went?" Zorath says after sending a ball of shadow at Oliver, who used wind and sent it up into the sky.
"I'll give him fifteen minutes before he shows up." Shane says while eyeing the ball, still somewhere in the atmosphere, both Oliver and Zorath wondered how he was going to keep track of time, but they didn't ask. The ball of shadow hurtles down toward Shane and he makes a bat out of shadow and slams the ball back into orbit where it faded into thin air. Shane sits on the grass while The other keep messing with their elements.
Shane counted down and made an orb of light for each minute, it only took five minutes for a void to open in the middle of the field. Shane dismisses the light and gets up off the ground. Zephyr hops through with a deer in each claw, and another in his muzzle, drops them onto the ground, then heads back through the portal, Shane and Zorath look at each other and shrug. Zorath comes back out with a large buck in both of his claws.
"Okay, so you grabbed food for us all."
"Yep." He drops the buck and grabs the one that he had in his muzzle before getting to work eating it as the portal closed behind him.
"He expects us to eat it raw?" Oliver says, a little put off on that.
Shane snorts "Actually no, he knows what i'm going to do, either of you ever go hunting?"
Zorath raises his claws "I have."
"Then you know about skinning a deer." Shane flashes his claws and starts skinning one of the deer. It only took him a few minutes but then he held up a decapitated carcass dripping blood. He looks towards Oliver "Mind holding this up in the air for a minute?" He tosses the body at the dragon and it starts hovering halfway between them, Zorath was getting the idea now "Move it up higher, too high, bring it down some... there." Zorath walks over to the left side "Barbaque deer?" He says to Shane on the other side.
"Why not? We're only going to have to do this once if i'm right." He rears back and blasts the deer meat with flame for several seconds. He looks down to Zorath "Give it about two seconds worth of heat, then back off, I know you haven't used flame breath so use how deep the breath be your counter for how long the flame lasts." The flame Zorath makes was bright red compared to Shane's white but it cooks the other side.
"Let's get the others done before we start eating... Zephyr, is that buck yours?" He looks up from his food and nods his head, Shane tried not to notice the amount of gore on Zephyr's muzzle... soon enough four roast deer were sitting on spits made of shadow summoned by Zorath. You could tell each of the dragons were hungry the way they stared at the deer.
Zorath looks at the spits "Who thought I would be doing this today?"
Zephyr chuckles, moving from the first deer, which he finished "Who thought half the things of today would happen?"
"I did actually." Shane says as he tears a leg off with his claws.
"Okay besides him." Zephyr says after shooting Shane an annoyed glance, as he turned towards the dead buck laying on the ground.
"Wow, actually made it right on medium." Oliver says while taking a bite out of the deer infront of him.
"What can i say? I'm a cook." Shane says while eating into the leg. several minutes later nothing was left of the deer but bones... mostly anyway. Zephyr tells them to toss the bones into a fire that he summoned, it sat in a perfect square and never seemed to overstretch that small amount or die any due to lack of fuel, when all the bones had been tossed in Zephyr says something in that odd language and the fire seems to jump before dying out, holding the entire square to be nothing but ash.
"So where do we go from here?" Oliver asks.
And Zephyr replies with "Somewhere we won't be easily found, the next thing we have to do is test that magical ability of yours, which should only take a minute, then we can go ahead and try and complete the spell." He starts opening up a portal.
"So, "a place we won't be easily found." That's quite a destination. Where do you think we're going to end up?" Shane asks the other two.
"Not sure, it's probably going to be a wooded area though." Zorath says
The portal opens and first to go through is Shane, followed by Zorath and Oliver, then Zephyr as he takes a last look around, he wondered if what he was going to do was a good idea after all. This casts some doubt in his mind before he shakes his head and leaps through the portal, it closing with a definitive pop, and leaving the dragons in the middle of a forest during the night.
"Where are we?" Zorath asks
"Oregon, somewhere near the California border... maybe around.. one A.M?"
"Not exactly the place i was thinking of, but Zorath was right, this is quite a big forest."
"Yeah, came here so you could catch up on sleep, tomarrow will be when we start with the magical stuff and hopefully the TF spell." Zephyr goes and walks over by a cluster of trees and lays down, Oliver didn't complain about having to sleep either, though he was probably wishing for a dragon sized pillow, Zorath kept his wavering distance, based on the snores Zehpyr was out and Oliver would soon join him, only Shane and Zorath kept awake, both with different reasons for staying awake... shane didn't feel like sleeping because it brought bad memories and Zorath was still trying to think on what might happen, Shane starts to have flashbacks and it get's him to jolt up, startiling Zorath.
"What is it?" Zorath asks, wondering what's got him riled up.
He chuckles, which sounded a bit like growling "I'm alright, just a small nightmare... try and get some sleep, whatever happens tomarrow is probably going to strain on us all." Shane walks off and dissapears into the woods, completely blending in with the shadows.
Zorath wondered what he was doing but then Shane was right about the sleep part... He lays up against a tree and stares at the small amount of stars that could be seen until his eyes finaly drifted closed.
